This release contains multiple bug fixes based on customer input and the challenge our customers have faced when working with clients.
SAP PI Test Data Creation
You can say that we should have control over the way we have been creating test cases from SAP PI/PO after 7 years. In this release we adding support for some cases we have not been able to support before. Now we are getting a new set of customers that need to perform migrations and test the migrated iFlow with PI test message processes..
You will just see more test cases be able to record on the first run of the test cases. Then select the ICOs for recording. We have updated our algorithms based on the data collected to create better tests.
In the upcoming October release we will be able to improve the experience for creating new test cases. Here we will give you some more information about what is going on, so it becomes easier for users to create test cases even if they don’t have access to PI system. This will enable you to troubleshoot what is going one in more details.
PI to Integration Suite Migration
Some updates for the migration process are also in this release.
- Add a warning if a Message Mapping is using Fault types. We do not support the response mapping of fault types at the moment.
- Using External definition of XSD or WSDL that are using import statement this is now migrated in a way that preserves the imported structures
- Adding SAP_MessageType to all migrated flows and setting the value to Interface name. This will make it easier and searchable and easier to update if you need your custom values
DevOps for SAP PI/PO
Make it easier to manage Receiver Interface objects in a transport/rewriting scenario. This applies to the cases where you need to remove some receiver systems from the list.
Upcoming October (2310) Release
We look forward to the October Release where we have some new enhancements:
- Notification on changes to your Integration Suite system
- Better debugging of the test case procedure
- Information about long running iFlows as an early warning
- Security improvements to bring down some of the questions in our penetration reports
