Install it yourself

The DevOps Suite covers your integration process from development to transport, testing and support. During the 30-day trial you will find new ways to release better integrations faster.

  1. Download the jar file above.
  2. Create a run-irt.bat file in the same folder, as described under Bootstrap script.
  3. Run it, and go to localhost:8089.
  4. On the license page, add the license key you received in a separate email.
  5. Go to the Agents tab and add your SAP PI or SAP Cloud Integration systems.
  6. Create a test case in Testing Tool → Integration Objects.
  7. Create a landscape with your systems, so you can transport your integrations.

License

You should have received an email with the license key. If not, register for a trial.

Bootstrap script

Create a run-irt.bat file in the folder where you saved the jar file, with the content below. It already uses the file name of version 2609.1; if you download a newer version, update the file name.

java -Dloader.path="./libs" -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=Windows-ROOT ^
--add-modules=java.se --add-exports=java.base/jdk.internal.ref=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.nio=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/sun.nio.ch=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.management/sun.management=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=jdk.management/com.sun.management.internal=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.util=ALL-UNNAMED ^
-jar "figaf-tool-2609.1.jar" ^
--server.port=8089 ^
--irt.url="http://localhost:8089"
pause

Java 21

Figaf runs on Java 21. If you don’t have it yet, we recommend Adoptium OpenJDK.
Figaf releases 2403 to 2602 used Java 17.

Problems running it

If the right Java isn’t on your path, you will see strange errors in the log or the terminal. Point the script at the Java you want to use instead, with a full path such as "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-21\bin\java" or, as here, a Java folder unpacked next to the bat file:

jdk-21-jre\bin\java -Dloader.path="./libs" -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=Windows-ROOT ^
--add-modules=java.se --add-exports=java.base/jdk.internal.ref=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.nio=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/sun.nio.ch=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.management/sun.management=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=jdk.management/com.sun.management.internal=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.util=ALL-UNNAMED ^
-jar "figaf-tool-2609.1.jar" ^
--server.port=8089 ^
--irt.url="http://localhost:8089"
pause

OneDrive can also cause problems. If it does, create the folder C:\figaf and put the files there.
