Do you know how long your B2B migration from PI/PO to Integration Suite will actually take? It’s hard to answer in a meeting, because it depends on a lot of things: how many partners, agreements and mappings you have and how many consultants will work on the project. So we tried to build a calculator that gives you a better idea of the timeline.
You answer nine questions about your landscape, and it plots your go-live on a real calendar, with weekends and public holidays included. You will also get a timeline for how long it would take using Figaf.
The scary part for me was seeing how close a B2B migration gets to the end of maintenance, even with a good size team. Try it with your own numbers and see where you land.
Try the calculator. It will not send any data to Figaf.
I also recorded a short video of it:

Wildcard ICOs can now be migrated
Wildcard ICOs, where the sender is a * instead of a specific system, have been hard to move from SAP PI to Integration Suite. Now Figaf supports them.
When you migrate a wildcard ICO, you select which sender channel it should connect to. We have also updated the migration report, so wildcard ICOs show up there too.
It’s included in the Free Migration Edition, so just get the latest Figaf version to try it.

SAP Cloud Integration chamber of horrors
At Devtoberfest, Morten Wittrock gave a session called SAP Cloud Integration chamber of horrors. He goes through a lot of patterns that developers abuse, or could abuse, when they build integrations. It’s well worth watching if you build or own integrations on Cloud Integration.
To me, it shows why you need a good understanding of what’s going on in your system and who does what. At the end of the day, someone needs to maintain it. The more bad patterns you add, the harder that becomes.

SAP TechEd in Berlin, October 27-29, 2026
SAP TechEd is coming up in Berlin, and I’m going. It’s always a good place to hear where SAP is taking Integration Suite, and the conversations between sessions are often just as useful as the keynotes.
If you’re going to TechEd too, ping me and let’s find a time to meet. I’d love to hear what you’re working on, whether it’s a PI/PO migration, B2B, or how you’re starting to use AI in your integration work.
