Your landscape, our experts: two ways to get your migration moving

Two ways to get started in your own landscape, faster message mappings, Figaf 2609 and the September Integration Suite update.

Week 40 · October 2, 2026 · 3 min read

Lately, a lot of my conversations have been about the same thing: PI/PO’s end of mainstream maintenance is now a little over a year away, and teams want to know how to get their migration moving without losing control along the way.

We don’t think the answer is another slide deck. Our tools only matter if you succeed with them, so the best thing we can do is sit down with you, in your own landscape, and help you get started.

Your landscape, our experts: two ways to get started

We currently have two offers to get you started with Figaf. In a free online session, we install and test Figaf in your own landscape and answer your questions along the way. In a paid two-day B2B migration workshop, we migrate some of your own messages to Integration Suite B2B/TPM with you.

Free online session: Get your SAP migration on track with Figaf Four hours with one of our experts. In your own landscape. In those four hours, we help you set up Figaf and walk you through a real PI/PO to Integration Suite migration. We go through your transport, testing, monitoring and documentation. And finally, we help you find the numbers you need for your migration business case.

Paid B2B Migration Workshop: from SAP PI/PO to Integration Suite B2B/TPM Moving to Integration Suite B2B doesn’t mean rebuilding every message in MAGs. Your PI landscape already holds mappings and logic that work. Over two days, Figaf’s B2B expert Emil Jessen migrates one or two of your own messages to Integration Suite TPM with you, shows you what to reuse and where a rebuild actually pays off, and leaves you with a gap list, test cases, a rollout plan and a business case.

Faster message mappings in SAP Integration Suite

Last week I started experimenting with ways to improve the message mapping functionality in Cloud Integration.

I managed to make a few iterations on it to simplify navigation between source elements. I also improved the formatting based on an issue reported.

Devtoberfest 2026 is running at full speed

I’m looking forward to next week, where I’m going to participate in a roundtable discussion with Robert Eijpe and Wouter Lemaire about How AI has changed the integration space. Hope you will join us.

Also I will recommend that you sign up for the session “Building Agentic Workflows with n8n in Joule Studio“. It shows how SAP Managed n8n, integrated with SAP’s line-of-business solutions, empowers business users and citizen developers to build agentic workflows through intent-based development.

Did you miss the last knowledge transfer session?

SAP’s monthly Integration Suite update was this week, and B2B got a lot of attention. Creating a MIG from an EDI file is now a guided, three-step flow: you upload the payload, pick the best match, and refine the result.

TPM can now handle custom XML messages through a configurable agreement lookup. And RosettaNet is covered end to end, with design-time modeling in Integration Advisor and RNIF 2.0 connectivity in Cloud Integration.

On the Cloud Integration side, a new where-used view for security material was introduced. It shows every iFlow that uses a given credential, which is handy when you rotate passwords or recreate credentials after a migration.

Cloud Integration also supports W3C Trace Context now, so you can follow a message from external monitoring tools into Cloud Integration. On top of that, OAuth2 Password Credentials artifacts can be deployed, and value mappings can be imported from the PI/PO Integration Directory.

Finally, Rojo Consultancy presented new and upcoming third-party adapters, including IBM MQ, Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive and Salesforce Service Cloud.

If you missed the session, you can view a recording here or you can view the PDF.
