The first release of the new year. It is not the biggest release but there are quite a few bug fixes we have been able to add. And there are a some of our customers and users that have been waiting on those improvements and some have just been because it would improve the user experience.
We have started on two big improvements that could not be ready for this release to improve our testing tool. The two missing parts are Integration Suite, Event Mesh and API management. We have some prototypes of how this can work and hopefully we get the functionalities working end to end.
Edge Integration Cell
We finished the last missing part on our EIC journey that we currently have planned. That means you can test the integration even on EIC. Monitor the messages on the EIC and even get notifications when an iFlow failed on EIC.
We have improved the way you are setting up the Edge Integration Cell. It is now a separate menu item where you can set it up.
One other big improvement is that you can connect to Edge Integration Cell via Cloud Connector. This will simplify the last missing part of the roadmap for Edge Integration Cell. You select OnPremise and then add the Localtionid of your cloud connector if needed and use the virtual URL. It will only work if you have Figaf running on SAP BTP.
Delayed rules in monitoring
One use case is that you have some messages being pulled via JMS. If a message goes into retry you don’t want to be informed about the problem. So if a iFlow goes on retry then you can now set a how long to wait before a successful message has been found for the case.
