Summer is a good time to improve your integration landscape

Explore a possible native Git integration in SAP Cloud Integration, see a practical guide to OData services, and look at the rollout of SAP's new MCP Gateway.

Week 28 · July 10, 2026 · 2 min read

The holiday season is creeping up on us, and you can feel things starting to slow down a bit. Meetings getting shorter, inboxes getting quieter, and maybe there’s a little more breathing room than usual.

If that sounds like your world too, this might actually be the perfect moment to take a step back and look at your SAP integration landscape. The stuff that usually gets pushed to “later” because there’s never time for it. What’s aging? What’s undocumented? What would break if the person who built it left tomorrow?

Figaf can help you with all that. And right now you can get 4 hours of complimentary assistance to get started. Not a demo, but a hands-on working session in your own landscape. A Figaf expert helps you set up Figaf, walks through a real PI/PO-to-Integration-Suite migration, goes through DevOps essentials (transport, testing, monitoring, documentation), and helps you put together a business case and some ROI numbers for your landscape specifically.

This offer is open to SAP end customers running PI/PO or Integration Suite today. Architects, lead developers, and whoever owns the platform. But hurry, this is a July-only offer and we only have limited spaces.

Something worth watching in SAP Cloud Integration

I read a great post this week from Krishna Chauhan that caught my eye. During a training session, he spotted new options showing up in the SAP CI tenant: Git Pull, Git Push, and Git Import.

If that holds up, it’s a real step toward native Git integration inside SAP Cloud Integration itself. Version control and DevOps built into the platform, not bolted on. Right now it looks like these are Trial-environment only, and Krishna hasn’t dug into the details yet, so treat it as an early sighting rather than a confirmed feature.

Worth keeping an eye on. Anyone else seeing this in their tenant?

OData services in SAP

Dyaga Harshit has created a LinkedIn post with a small guide to understand how backend OData services are built and how they work.

The brand-new MCP Gateway in SAP Integration Suite is rolling out to customer tenants

It’s genuinely great to see these tools land, and the best thing is that while the MCP Gateway (like all of SAP’s AI features) is part of the Premium and Enhanced Integration Suite editions, it’s also available in the trial landscape right now. So you can go try it for free today.
