We keep hearing the same thing from integration teams: “We know Figaf would help, but we can’t prove it to management.” So we built a calculator for it.
You enter your number of migration objects, consultants and hourly cost. It shows you when Figaf pays for itself and what you save.
An example with a mid-size landscape (250 objects, 3 consultants, €80/h):
- Break-even: Figaf has to save 2.1 hours per object. The example assumes 6.
- 1,500 consultant hours freed up
- €77,000 saved after licenses
- Delivered 15.6 weeks sooner
Most of the savings come from migration, transport and testing, which are the repetitive parts nobody enjoys doing by hand anyway.
To be clear, these are example assumptions. Swap in your own numbers, or run a free trial pilot and use real data from your own landscape.
If you need to make the case to your manager or finance team, we’re happy to go through the numbers with you on a free 30-minute call.
Figaf 2609 is released
This release upgrades the Figaf platform to the latest versions of its dependencies, so we can fix security issues faster and keep improving authentication, starting with session-based login.
For B2B, you now get one view of all your SFTP, IDoc, AS2 and ProcessDirect endpoints, and improved transport of security artifacts for Company and Subsidiaries, which makes managing AS2 for your partners much easier.

When will your B2B migration actually be done?
We have tried to build an improved calculator that gives some idea about the timeline. And how long it will take without and with Figaf.
Spoiler alert: it will save you a lot of time and gray hair to get these numbers.
The scary part is B2B Migration is getting close to the end of maintenance with even a good size team.
Give it a try It’s free of charge and no data is sent to Figaf.
What SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration customers need to know about the 2030 timeline
SAP recently published guidance covering the implications of the 2030 maintenance timeline for SAP Business Suite 7 and SAP NetWeaver customers.
If you are running SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or SAP Process Integration (PI), even if you have already moved off SAP ERP or SAP Business Suite 7, this article is relevant to you.
Did you miss the “How has AI changed the integration space” roundtable?
Wednesday I participated in a SAP session about how AI has changed the way we design, build, test, and operate integrations.
Devtoberfest 2026
Devtoberfest is SAP’s annual community celebration. A season of hands-on sessions, tutorials, and challenges where building something is the whole point.
My recommendations for next week are:
- Edge Integration Cell: what’s new? The latest on Edge Integration Cell, SAP’s hybrid runtime for managing APIs and running integration scenarios in your own landscape. Expect new features, updates and roadmap items.
- SAP Cloud Integration chamber of horrors. Morten Wittrock always has some interesting presentations, so it’s worth a listen. If you dare.
You can see the full Devtoberfest calendar here, and sign up for upcoming sessions or revisit past ones.
