There are a few steps you need to take before you can use the Figaf tool to migrate the B2B scenarios. You need to setup an environment that will enable you to process the EDI setup.
Migrating B2B from PI to Integration Suite will be a demanding task, that will take you some time to get familiar with. But with this guide, you will get introduced to the steps for how to complete a migration to having an operational B2B scenario in the Integration Suite, which can be validated and regression tested.
Note, naming conventions: The naming conventions are important for handling this in a larger perspective. There is a purpose for using all settings as specified in the videos.
Before you can get started with the migration you should install Figaf on your own environment and configure it. The best guide is this one.
You will be taken through the following procedural steps:
- Prepare Company, no video for this, since this is a basis one-time task
- Prepare Partner Profiles, using the Figaf fast-track
- Prepare MIGs, and ideally MAGs
- Prepare Integration Suite TPM Agreement Templates, using naming conventions
- Perform migration of PI/PO Operation mapping to Integration Suite TPM
Create company
You should have created yourself as a company and if required, the subsidiaries you will be using. I would recommend you check how Figaf creates the Partner profiles and add Identifiers and Systems in the same way.

Video Guide 2: Creation of MIGs and MAGs
As a part of the preparation for your PI B2B migration, you will need to define all MIGs, and ideally also MAGs, so that you can proceed to the preparation of agreement templates.
When migrating a B2B solution from PI, you will not be needing the MAG, but having them in place, even as empty mappings, will ensure that your Agreement Templates are better aligned using correct MIGs. Preparing MAGs (complete or not) is not required for the migration process, but advisable.
