I have seen some customers being recommended that they should modify the ICOs before they perform the migration. The reason is to fit the ICOs to what the SAP migration tool can handle, for example the number of receivers. If you do modify the ICO before a migration, you should roll it back afterwards. Notice there is a 5%-20% chance that you will miss something and then the change may by mistake be transported to production.
