To see what Figaf Tool does before you install anything, start with Exploring Figaf — a guided introduction to the DevOps Suite, with a sample package and a free trial.
When you are ready to set it up, work through the steps in this order — everything else in the manual assumes they are done.
-
Check the requirements, then install Figaf Tool and start the application.
-
Configure an agent for each SAP system you want Figaf Tool to reach, and let it synchronize.
-
Set up your landscapes so Figaf Tool knows how those systems relate to one another.
If something goes wrong on the way, see Installation troubleshooting.
What do you want to do?
- Track what changed
-
Change Tracking Tool fetches and stores the state of your objects on PRO and CPI systems, detects what was created, changed or deleted, and shows you the differences between versions.
- Test before you release
-
Testing Tool runs regression and baseline tests against PRO or CPI systems, compares the results, and reports the differences. Test cases can be grouped into suites, scheduled, and driven from the API.
- Move changes between systems
-
DevOps collects changes into tickets and transports them along a landscape, from development through to production.
- Watch what is running
-
Operations covers message and system monitoring, statistics, EDI and Event Mesh monitoring, and alerting on failures.
- Manage trading partners
-
B2B covers subsidiaries, trading and communication partners, agreements and the scenarios built from them.
- Migrate from PI to CPI
-
Migrate PI integration objects, operation mappings and B2B content to Cloud Integration. See also Migration from Neo to Integration Suite.
